Why i didn't manage to download route.php file of laravel-5

I want to get a solution from you all. After installing Composer and the laravel on my xammp htdocs, i am facing a problem that is i cant able to find out route.php on apps/http directory. So i tried to download again and same issues arise. So i manually create route.php file in that directory to overcome the issue. but unfortunately its not working. So please give some solution about it that, why this route.php file is not downloaded by default when i creating a new project on htdocs.

N:B: i write php artisan serve to start laravel port 8000
