Can I use function from another controller (A) in controller (B) and how?

I'm using Laravel 5. I want to make one function which I will use a lot, and instead of copying this code every time, I decided, why not to make a function in another controller, which I will call in my main controller. So, is it possible? And, if yes - please tell how. If anybody has had the same problem - please share with us how did you solve it, I will be happy to correct your answer.
