laravel issue while uploading it to shared hosting

I am trying to upload my laravel app to a shared hosting server i am facing issue making change in index.php file exist on my htdocs folder.

case 1)

when I am using this code in index.php

this gives error showing it cant access to up folder correctly

Please tell me what should be content of my index.php Thanks in advance....
