How can you show data from another table in a drop down list in Laravel [closed]

I have 2 SQL tables. 1 for users and the other for a log sheet. My Log sheet table will have a view that will allow the user the enter details per user which they can select from a drop down list. I am really new to Laravel so I am now sure how to go about pulling data from the user table to show in the log form. Does any one know the direction that I could follow?
