Can I add meteor to one part of my app which is written in Laravel?

I have my app written in Laravel 5.3, however I want that my app core functionality be written in meteorjs. I was thinking that I should introduce SSO, so user can be authenticated straight away when it goes from laravel to meteor framework, so I'm wondering is this a good way? Also is it possible to have myapp.com written in laravel and myapp.com/core in meteorjs?
