Multi Level Marketing App, the best way to code

We like to implement a system for a Network Marketing Company that operates in several countries but managed from one (home) country. the system that we wish to create is based on Laravel framework and MySQL database. We need to handle millions of records per day in MySQL. So we want to Know What is the perfect way to handle that much amount of data efficiently? would we choose a central database or a distributed database? What architecture would better serve the construction of reliable, efficient, scalable and secure systems?
