Laravel and XAMPP

I have a question regarding Laravel. I use XAMPP for a localhost database, and when I put the Laravel files, in the HTDOCS folder (of XAMPP), it shows me the Index of /laravel, instead of the default PHP page. Is there a way I can open the site with XAMPP without using "php artisan serve" in CMD?
