Password reset using mobile number in laravel 5.1

I want to reset my password using both mobile number and email in my application. I am using laravel 5.1. I have tried to change PasswordBroker.php But th problem is, the file PasswordBroker.php is inside vendor folder. So any changes in library update may affect the function i wrote. So i need another ways.

What changes do I have to make to request the mobile number instead of the email address when requesting a password reset with laravel's authentication.
