Customize built-in Laravel authentication

I need to modify the authentication procedure of Laravel's built-in authentication since I have altered the users table's attributes and thus I'll have to change these attributes in the authentication also.

Google didn't show up the right thing. I just got somewhere like vendor/laravel/framework/src/Illuminate/Auth where I was unable to find what I am looking for.
