Laravel: Ajax posts and token mismatch after fast repeated posts

I have a website where almost every form save is done using an ajax post. Within every page the opening of for example tabs is also done using ajax posts for fetching data. If I work very fast (thus a lot of posts withing seconds) I sometimes (and completely at random) get thrown out and logged off.

there is nothing wrong with the CSFR tokens send within the posts as a lot of times everything works fine.

So my guess is that Laravel has a security build in for multiple posts. If so, where do I change this setting?
