Laravel :Memory_limit

if been trying to serve my project using Laravel, but I got the same error everytime, that I should increase the memory limit. i m currnetly using mac os ,laravel 5.4 .i m trying to increase it in the file php.ini.default that i have on that path:/etc/php.ini.default. but the same error :  Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1610612736 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in phar:///usr/local/Cellar/composer/1.8.0/bin/composer/src/Composer/DependencyResolver/RuleWatchGraph.php on line 52

so if there's anyone who can help me to solve this problem I will be thankful.
