Laravel - How To Read Content From Word

I'm new to laravel and i have a problem ... i have some books in word format on my server (file storage not in database) what i want is to make e-books from those word files .. i want to read content from word and the print them on browser. after creating i books i also need searching operations on them like if user enter some text i want to find out that if that text is present on book if yes then give the result .... is this possible ? if yes then how ? i shall be really very thankful if someone can guide me regarding this problem.
